Regions Hospital Physical Therapist in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital has an opening available for a Physical Therapist to join our amazing Inpatient Rehab department. This full-time Physical Therapy position will primarily serve patients admitted to our 21-bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with some coverage onto the acute floors of our Trauma Level 1 hospital. We have CARF specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury care. We also care for patients after amputation or those with complex medical or trauma-related injuries. We are seeking a candidate with experience in one or more of these areas. Prior experience with acute inpatient rehab setting preferred. Seating/mobility knowledge preferred but not required. We work collaboratively as a interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed. This is a full time, M-F position with every 4th weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Onboarding support and ongoing mentorship by our collaborative team is built into every hire and we pride ourselves on our welcoming and supportive culture. Specialty rehabilitation technology (FES cycle, Zero G body weight support system, Bioness Integrative Technology touchscreen, pressure mapping device and more) is included in onboarding. Yearly continuing education money as well as paid MedBridge subscription are benefits of this position. Work Schedule: M-F 8-4:30 Every 4th weekend yearly holiday rotation Required Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Licensed with the Minnesota State Board of Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience in similar settings/diagnoses. Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
