University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Electroneurodiasnostic Technologist in the Neurosciences Institute. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our neurologists and neurosurgeons diagnose and treat all types of brain, spine and nervous system disorders (500+), no matter how rare or challenging. We’ll carefully evaluate your symptoms and health history, in order to provide an accurate diagnosis. And you’ll have access to a broad range of subspecialists, such as neuro-ophthalmologists and neurorehabilitation experts. Get care for a full range of neurological issues including: brain aneurysms, brain tumors, epilepsy and seizures, headaches and migraines, memory and brain wellness, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, pituitary and skull base tumors, and stroke care.

WORK SCHEDULE: • 100% FTE, 40 hrs/week • Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Tue-Sat

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Independently perform special or complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures such as EEGs, evoked potentials, autonomics, or intraoperative monitoring in various settings • Collect and analyze data • Perform technical interpretation of data and relates findings to physicians and/or neurophysiologist • Develop and standardize procedures for clinical use • Train END technologists and other personnel as needed • Provide work direction to others • May participate in clinical investigative or research activities • Perform scheduling and other clerical duties • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvements activities

REQUIREMENTS: • Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation • One year of experience in a laboratory performing clinical electroneurodiagnostic tests preferred
