Lockheed Martin Proposal Strategy Coordinator (HYBRID TELEWORK) in Orlando, Florida

The Rotary and Tactical Aircraft Trainings Solutions (RTATS) Proposal Strategy Coordinator will report directly into the RTATS Director and have responsibility to help coordinate and plan proposal and strategy activities across the RTATS portfolio and ensure that it becomes embedded for review as part of the recurring monthly scheduled business rhythms.

This individual will coordinate with proposal teams in the development of compliant and compelling solicitation (e.g. RFP) responses for all RTATS proposal offerings. Additionally, this individual is responsible for working across all of the RTAT portfolio, as well as engaging with BD, Sourcing, and Engineering groups to support RTAT strategic activities and ensure that they remain a priority within the monthly rhythm of our performance work. This individual will ensure the correct funding has been estimated and that the proposal plans are developed and managed in a way that the proposal delivery process becomes a very predictable activity to plan. . This individual must be comfortable and experienced providing regular status and meaningful feedback to Senior leadership with regards to RTAT proposal performance and strategic activities.

This person will need to be experienced and capable of professionally handling proposal coordination activities, to include:

• working with Capture Managers, Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Facilities, and other organizations to identify the proposal team and required facilities for the proposal effort

• establishing and managing proposal schedules and deadlines

• conducting regular proposal status meetings, and managing actions to closure

• ensuring work spaces are well-maintained for the proposal teams, to include daily oversight and maintenance of assigned proposal spaces

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of proposal process

• Experience leading diverse teams under time pressures and competing priorities

• Prior experience interfacing with executive level administration

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and/or SharePoint.

Desired Skills:

• Program management experience

• Successful experience managing highly technical teams

• Meaningful team guidance and interpersonal skills requiring minimal direction

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent writing ability with experience in developing content for technical, administration, past performance, and resume proposal sections

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
