Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Lincoln, Nebraska

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position involves managing the financial reporting functions including accounts payables and customer relations. The role also involves educating the organization about the role and its functions, while fostering an environment that prioritizes the care and safety of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain the Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets systems

• Data entry and preparation of invoices for payment, monitoring invoices for appropriate capitalization for assets

• Conduct check runs in a timely manner as established by the Director of Finance

• Reconcile accounts payable and fixed asset general ledger accounts

• Conduct month-end work papers and journal entries in a timely manner

• Communicate with external vendors regarding invoice status

• Provide feedback to internal leaders regarding the invoice coding process and departmental responsibility

• Assure timeliness and appropriateness of monthly accruals for the organization and its affiliates

• Complete other duties as assigned.

• SAP Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Experience with check runs and coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Familiarity with invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
