Your New Role

As the Assistant Security Operations Manager at the Warner Bros. Studio tour, you will be responsible for supporting the safety and security of guests visiting the Tour and Retail operations, as well as the physical security of the Tour which contains the original sets, props, and costumes from the Harry Potter film series.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • The core tenets of the position are managing day-to-day operational security, designing, coordinating and delivering training, as well as a project management.

  • Support security operations at Warner Bros Studio Tours and Retail operations, focusing on managing security implications in crowded places with significant visitor attendance.

  • Project manage security operating procedures and respond to forthcoming security statutory requirements (such as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law), supported by a comprehensive governance structure.

  • Collaborate with all business units to instil a strong security culture throughout the organisation by designing, delivering and leading security training.

  • Deliver the security function through a third-party security contract whilst measuring performance.

  • Create, update and review site-wide Security policies, and deliver security training on an as needed basis

  • Build effective relationships and act as a liaison point with local law enforcement, CTSA’s, and fire/emergency services.

  • Provide security support for events and executive/talent visits, as well as physical and technical security recommendations for new construction projects.

  • Deputise for the Security Operations Manager, Tour as necessary and train as a Tour Duty Manager if required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management level position in a Security department for a large public facing company (preferably within a high-profile visitor attraction or similar environment), or relevant experience in public sector / law enforcement

  • Experience of contract management and performance leadership

  • Proven track record of project management as well as designing and delivering training, preferable with relevant qualifications

  • Experience in investigation, evaluation and design of security measures, working across stakeholder groups to fulfil and implement requirements

  • Credible and experience in operational response to emergency and crisis situations

  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint & Excel

Working Pattern

  • This role is full time (40 hours a week).

  • On occasion we may request working hours at weekends, on public or bank holidays, during school holidays and late evenings, to support the business.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
