Eagle Eye Electric, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager for an environmental remediation project in St. Francois County, Missouri. The Quality Control Manager is directly responsible for the quality of all work. This includes coordination with the subcontractors and vendors on the project to ensure that the materials being used, methods of construction and specifications meet the minimum requirements identified in the design documents. This position requires a close working relationship with the project Superintendent as well as the Project Manager. The QCM must have a strong working knowledge of general construction practices and the ability to read, understand, and follow work plans. The QCM will be involved in the review of all product submittals prior to their submittal to the client. This person must be comfortable working directly with the project team and client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
On-site management of the QC process
Project coordination between all parties; subcontractors, owner’s reps, etc. on all QC related issues
Input on the project schedule with the Superintendent to ensure that all submittals are approved, long lead times are accounted for, materials are inspected upon arrival, preparatory meetings are scheduled, hold points are performed and work in the field is inspected while underway
Attendance at regular internal and external progress meetings including submittal updates
Development of daily reports with Superintendent
Assistance to the Superintendent in the development of punch lists
Review and processing of project submittals
Active roll with Superintendent in daily and weekly meetings with all on site staff
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of management or QCM experience on environmental construction projects including residential lead-contaminated soil remediation
Experience on a DOD or Federal site is preferred
Environmental remediation construction experience of at least 3 years
OSHA 10 or 30 Training
40 Hour Hazwoper/8 Hour Refresher
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
Excellent computer skills
Skilled in Microsoft® Office programs
Construction management experience
Experience in environmental remediation projects
Federal government or DOD experience in construction
Local to the St. Francois County or neighboring counties in Missouri
First Aid/CPR certified
Construction Quality Management for Contractors certified

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, personnel will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check. Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
