Job Summary

Bohannan Huston is currently seeking a full-time experienced Civil Engineer to join our engineering team in our Las Cruces office.

As a Civil Engineer in the Las Cruces office, you would be involved in numerous tasks that would include participating on a project team to develop construction drawings and technical specifications for water, wastewater, gas, and transportation projects. Design elements include engineering reports, grading and drainage, public utilities, water/wastewater treatment, site development, and roadways. Other duties include engineering and construction contracts, writing scopes of work, cost estimating, bidding administration, and construction administration.

Who You Are

• You have graduated with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• You are currently licensed in New Mexico as a PE (or can establish reciprocity within 1 year).
• You have 4 or more years of experience.
• You have multiple years of experience in Autodesk Civil 3D (highly preferred).
• You have multiple years of experience in ESRI GIS software.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication, are a great listener, and are prompt, polished, and specific in your responses.
• You are determined, organized, and detail oriented.
• You are customer focused.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn and grow.
• You welcome feedback and find ways to do your work better.
• You are eager to make your work more efficient by learning and mastering various engineering technologies.
