    Summ ary

Accomplish the full range of aircrew academic and simulator instruction in the AC-130J, HC-130J, and MC-130J aircraft and mission sets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply varied instructional and learning theories and practices to mentor and instruct technically exact material, demanding processes, and strict adherence to instructions and regulations.

  • Serve as subject matter expert in the assessment of existing lessons and development of curriculum for new lessons as required

  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge in order to instruct basic qualification, refresher, and instructor upgrade courses.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 200 hours USAF Instructor time in the C-130J, AC-130J, HC-130J or MC-130J airframe

  • Candidates will be subject to frequent written and performance evaluations to levels of expert knowledge and instructional ability.

  • Applicants must be willing and able to work varying shifts, weekend, and in outdoors conditions as required

  • Applicants will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must be able to obtain/maintain the required security clearance (Secret)

Preferred Skills

  • Community College of the Air Force qualification and formal training on instructor methodologies and curriculum development.

  • Develop and maintain authorized software lists for all types of systems assigned

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance; TS/SCI Clearance required

  • AAS/BA/BS preferred

  • CompTIA Security+ or DOD 8570 IAT II qualifications required

  • Desired: IT Specific certifications in specific area

Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

    Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Majority of work will be performed in an office environment.

  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule and as required.

    Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to sit and operate personal computer for extended periods of time.

    Occasional business domestic travel required.
