Be part of a new function at Tradeweb, building data products for our clients. You will be working closely with all lines of business as they research new products from our vast reservoir of data. You will be building cutting edge applications that reveal new insights into all of Tradeweb’s businesses. The candidate will have the opportunity work on a wide range of use cases from simple customer facing data APIs to large scale machine learning models.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with Tradeweb’s Data Science teams to build revenue generating services and products

• Understand the business challenges and how your code will tackle them

• Evaluate different data processing tools, taking in to account speed, scalability and operational overhead.

• Design and build data ingest pipelines to collect data from all parts of the company and third parties.

• Work closely with SREs to run mission crucial production services.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a technical field: CS, Physics, Maths etc…

• Strong analytical background with an expert knowledge of ML and Deep Learning packages.

• 5 + years of experience working in data in the Financial Services industry, ideally fixed income.

• Strong experience with scalable data processing engines: e.g. BigQuery, Presto, Snowflake, Spark etc.

• Good programming experience, preferably in Python and/or C++. Exposure to numerical Python (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter etc).

• Good proclivity for automation and DataOps practices.

• A good understanding of product design

• Experience with stream processing, Kafka, Pulsar, Storm, Kinesis, etc.

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $120,000 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
