The Department of Transportation is currently in search of a dedicated individual to fill the role of Clerical Assistant 3 within the Bureau of Driver Licensing. The responsibilities include delivering prompt and precise responses to inquiries related to driver licensing matters from various stakeholders such as the legislature, legal professionals, and the public. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the PA vehicle code, crimes code, bureau policies and procedures, Driver License Control (DL&C) system, personal computer, and relevant software. Responsibilities include reviewing and researching driving records to offer precise information to customers, examining Enterprise Content Services (ECS) and microfilm copies of source documents for accuracy, approving/denying delay requests, preparing correspondence, retrieving and filling out form letters from the system, composing and typing personalized letters, and proofreading completed letters for accuracy and format.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
