Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Contracts Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join the Systems team in Everett , Washington .

The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating and improving Boeing's supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contracting strategy, contract negotiation and supplier selection.

This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates will be expected to demonstrate an ability to educate and mentor their peers on Boeing contractual terms, prepare for supplier negotiations, and adhere to the procurement processes.

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.

  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.

  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions

  • 3+ years of experience working in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement

  • 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $84,600 - $103,400
