Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division, is seeking a Contract Administrator / Principal Contract Administrator based out of our Linthicum, MD office to join our F-35 EODAS and Sustainment Operating Unit (OU) contracts team within the Tactical Fighters (TF) Business Unit (BU). In this role, you will lead the EODAS contracts portfolio, supporting several multi-year high-dollar proposals, negotiations and contracts. You will report to the OU Contracts Manager and work closely on a day-to-day basis with the OU leadership team including program management, business management, operations, capture managers, and other functional teams. The candidate will join an engaged team who challenges one another to learn and grow, while supporting one of the military's critical and cutting-edge programs.

What You'll Get to Do:

The selected candidate will lead the EODAS contracts portfolio, supporting several multi-year high-dollar proposals, negotiations and contracts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.

  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Work under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.

  • Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.

  • Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices, proposals, and data calls.

  • Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information.

Basic Qualifications (A02 Contracts Administrator):

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 1 years directly related experience.

  • Will consider 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe

  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS.

  • Ability to gather, organize, and relay information and collaborate in a team environment.

  • Ability to travel occasionally - up to 10% of the time.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications (A02 Contracts Administrator):

  • Current/active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Experience in the Defense or Aerospace Industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.

  • Experience with USG and Prime customers.

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types, and ability to successfully research FAR/DFAR information.

  • Ability to understand regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts.

Basic Qualifications (A03 Principal Contracts Administrator):

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years directly related experience.

  • Will consider 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types, and ability to successfully research FAR/DFAR information.

  • Ability to understand regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.

  • Ability to gather, organize, and relay information and collaborate in a team environment.

  • Ability to travel occasionally - up to 10% of the time.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications (A03 Principal Contracts Administrator):

  • Current/active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Experience in the Defense or Aerospace Industry.

  • Experience with USG and Prime customers.

  • Ability to provide advice on a wide range of contractual and business-related matters including proposal strategy, estimating & pricing, audits, contract formation and customer relationships.

  • Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

Salary Range 2: $84,600 - $127,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
